Four ways to get things done

Doing things in time will make you happier and most people want to be happy. Therefore it goes without question that it is important to get things done. In order to get things done we need to get out of our comfort zones, and this makes doing things difficult. This is evident by the fact that people often recall that they had an idea once and failed to implement it, after they see some else has implemented it. They then go on to tell others how much the idea was their own, however the fact is that they did no implement it and that makes them unhappy.
According to the ‘done manifesto’ and the cult behind it, developed by …and available at… getting things done is a matter of recognizing that everything is a trial or draft and that the small steps make up the actual process of getting things done. The done manifesto should be printed and placed in a strategic position where it can be read as one goes with their daily routines. The manifesto reminds us that it’s important to do something now. It doesn’t have to be big or small but has to be done now. We fail to get things done i.e. not get what we want, because we keep looking at perfection, and tend to give our power away to perfection. Instead we should note that perfection is boring. It’s important to just do it.
Here are four ways to help you in getting things done:
  1. Fix your eyes here; you have already determined in your plans and that’s where it should be until it comes to reviewing your goals. Meanwhile, keep your focus here, on the step you are making. By focusing on the here, you are putting your power to your goal, because you are stepping forward. Looking at the end result only serves to show you how far from it you are and looking at a step actually takes you a step closer.
  2. Take a step: The notion ‘one step at a time’ is a cliché. You should just take a step or steps. You should make decision and move. Just participate in your plans however small your participation. Break it down to the smallest steps and make them.
  3. Make it a hobby; because these are things we like to do. Making your task or initiative a hobby changes your mentality towards it. Making it your hobby is simple. Just tell yourself and others that it feels like a hobby every time you do it. Think of the task at hand as a new development in your interests.
  4. Smile; smiling changes your facial appearance, relaxes your muscles and makes you think you are a master at what you are doing. This is very effective in enabling you to follow the above mentioned ways. Smiling at something makes it exiting to some degree, so the best way to make your task interesting is to smile at the prospect of doing it.

Why you keep refering to yester days.

Hello, did you just say you miss the good old days? Are you aware that the old days are that? Yes they are. So why do you keep yourself old and claim to be young. In a day, how much time do you spend, thinking of those days. If you continue like this, you’ll be talking about today next year. Only that you will be talking about today in regret of why you did not live it to your full. Narrow your thoughts to what great is happening now. Think about what you are doing now. If you are reading this blog, then stop peeping into other tabs until you are through with this. Concentration is key. Thats the most simple solution. Thank you.
